Industrial property
and infrastructure
On the west coast of Norway. A small number of areas, developed with a long-term view. Follow the line.
Zoned, wholly owned, on the shoreline
Cold seawater and a cool maritime climate support free cooling — the single largest operating cost in a large-scale facility.
Adjacent to the 420 kV corridor under reinforcement. Grid connection is in dialogue with the regional operator.
Carbon capture from ambient air
Pursued through a separate company alongside other owners.
The same coastal region: industrial zoning, energy infrastructure and sea access serve both digital and carbon infrastructure.
Acquisition, development and sale
Industrial and commercial land on the west coast — the most frequent activity in the portfolio since 2001.
Positions are taken selectively: from unzoned land through planning and zoning to build-ready sites, developed with partners and held with a long-term view.
Commercial buildings alongside land — among them the PST building in Oslo, police stations in Drammen and at Straume, and a terminal at Gardermoen.
Vessel transactions and investment
Brokered transactions between buyer and seller, and selective positions taken alongside partners — principally LNG. Structuring of equity and debt financing for large shipping projects.
Ongoing but less frequent than property — opportunities are taken as they arise, through a long-standing network on both sides of the table.
Financial structuring and securitisation
Major offshore projects: financial structuring and securitisation.
Advanced financing: cross-border leasing and US private placements — in offshore and shipping alike.
The whole picture
